Williams Peak Hut Rental (By Nights)
- Location: Stanley, Idaho
The Williams Peak Hut rental calendar reflects the nights of your stay. Your departure from the hut will be on the day following the final night you choose. For example, if you choose to rent the hut on January 3, 4 & 5, this will be a 4-day, 3-night trip with a check out on January 6. Please be sure to account for this as you set up your rental.
The Williams Peak Hut can be rented on a private basis by qualified groups. There must be a group leader who has previously stayed at the Williams Peak Hut and has taken a Level 1 Avalanche Course. If no one in the group has been to our hut before, a first time hut rental guide is required. The first time hut rental guide will ensure you find the route to the hut and provide a hut orientation upon arrival.
The Williams Peak Hut is an extremely popular place and often books far in advance. As a result, we are required to have a strict Cancellation Policy.
Impacts of Climate Change and Acts of Nature
The impacts of climate change are affecting outdoor recreation more than ever. Severe weather, forest fires (and forest fire smoke), excessive heat, emergency evacuations, trail closures, lack of sufficient snow cover, and the destruction of facilities and infrastructure, just to name a few, are becoming yearly occurrences in the mountains and adjacent communities.
In considering a reservation for the Williams Peak Hut, SMG wants to remind our customers that no credits or refunds will be issued due to acts of nature (including a lack of snow) or destruction of the hut by natural or human-caused fire. It is more important than ever to protect your purchase with travel insurance.
